On the collaboration, ketia explains: “Being a resident at RAUM means so much more to me than just playing consistently at the same club. It’s a chance to curate and combine sonic landscapes, to conjure meaning and moments that aren’t usually seen as viable, to push music and the RAVE forward.
Phase Fatale pulls from a side of club music that is unique, tantalizing, gritty and very much needed. I’m honored to invite and join him behind the decks at the Expo.”

Why Not * ECD * Club RAUM
Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti & Zalán Szakács & ECD3
For centuries, people have used rituals to attune themselves to their environment, nature and the ecosystem in which they live. Sowing is enhanced with rituals of hope and expectation, the good harvest is exuberantly celebrated and people connect with each other through dance and music.
In our own contemporary ecosystem of the city, many people meet in nightclubs, where they dance, move and celebrate life together. When they merge together into the music and the intoxication of the night, the sense of space and time disappears. The group then transforms into a collective, as it were, and together they recreate the world on the dance floor.
Club Mountain is an interdisciplinary project that brings together elements of ancient ritual and the contemporary nightclub. The project reflects, investigates and poses open questions about how rituals and modern technologies can serve as a medium to travel to other worlds of experience, to the collective memory that is stored in our bodies and comes to life on the underground rhythm of the city at night.
Credits:
This project is part of an interdisciplinary research on ritual technologies with guest artists choreographer and director Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti (BO/BRA) and light artist Zalán Szakács (RO/HU), with repetitor Matheus Moreira de Oliveria (BRA), dance students (third year) of the Expanded Contemporary Dance (ATD) program: Sarah Mary Bittar, Tim Brügger, Aleyna Demir, Lola Dupriez, Mélie Favre, Mandisa Gramelsberger, Sem Houmes, Naomi Katthagen, Pei Kuo, Hope Landu, Sára Mezei, Lucija Miletić, Elise Richards, Ditte Toppet, Rowan van den Boomen, San Wolteche with Partner Club Raum.
