Refugee Welcome Week is back at Club RAUM for a second time as a pit-stop during their 2026 programme. RWW is a refugee-led cultural programme of art, dialogue and action across the Netherlands. This time the programme at RAUM will focus on dialogue, enrichment, community & belonging.

Workshop by Farah Al Morshedy
Rituals of Becoming is a participatory workshop where participants transform personal feelings into a shared ritual of empowerment and release. Through writing and symbolic stones, the workshop explores feelings of exclusion, grief, hope, protection, and the possibility of becoming.
Performance by Stavros Kyrillos
Reviving elkhawal—a historical drag-like performance tradition from Egypt—this interactive piece combines storytelling, belly dance, and audience participation to reclaim queer cultural histories. Lolita Om Badawi connects stories of past khawal performers with present-day queer experiences across the SWANA region and diaspora.
